Are they any VX fleets / owners in Great Lakes area

The VX one looks to be a very cool boat, is there any owners or fleets in Great Lakes area?

Anyone know of any VX sailing demo days planned for 2014 in the Michigan or Ohio areas?

Thanks for the post on our forum. The VX One is an exciting platform with a strict one-design approach to keep things both affordable and sustainable. We have a great group of dedicated owners in the US, and abroad, with a growing number of sanctioned fleets here.
We are looking at some growing interest in the GL area and there will definitely be some demo opportunities in 2014 in that area (post-thaw :). In the meantime, there are boats available for charter at select events in the south this winter as well as many opportunities for you to come South, warm up and give the VX One a try. If you are up for that, let me know. We'd be glad to arrange whatever works best for you. In the meantime, please feel free to stay in touch and throw us any questions you have,

Thanks for your reply, will not be able to make it south this winter.

Will continue to follow the development of the class (hope to see more VX One forum activity) and look for opportunities to check out the VX one should they present closer to home.
