The 2017 dates have been firmed up for the GPEN regatta 2017. We had a great time here in 2016, 3 FRA boats, 2 GBR boats and 1 USA - Brian & Hayden travelled over the for regatta - ask them about the food we had! The entry fee includes accommodation and food for the whole regatta!!

This year it clashes with an event in the UK, but other boats from mainland Europe may well attend.

We've set up a new Facebook group called 'VX One Racing - Europe'.

Please search and join this group to be kept up to date on European VX One racing. We will be putting European regattas on the page and showing charter boat availability. 

Our latest Ovington VX One - GER 210 heading to the Dusselfdorf Boat Show then onto it's new owner in Germany.

To be held in Brest, France 5 - 7 May as part of a multiclass keelboat regatta.

2 French boats are going - FRA 192 and FRA 207, along with at least 3 GBR boats. Charter boats will be available to overseas competitors.

The National Championships is the only 'stand alone' event, the others are all part of big multi class events. Cowes Week typically has between 800-1,000 keelboats and yachts racing (the VX One was one of the shortest boats there)!

We had a great day sailing GBR 149 at Queen Mary reservoir on the outskirts of London during a boat test by Yachts & Yachting magazine.

Quick message to say thank you to everyone involved in making the 2013 North American Championships such a great regatta. I know lots of people were involved in the organisation from the VX One class association, Rush Creek YC and Bennett Yachting.

I had an awesome time on and off the water and hope to return for a regatta next year...
