No VX Ones in Ireland I'm afraid. We've been talking to Shane Hughes (North Sails) and Matt McGovern (Olympic 49er sailor/ coach) about taking boats over.

There are approximately 20 boats in GBR and another 20 in mainland Europe.

Contact Bennett Yachting - we've made motor brackets for them and have a mould here at Ovington Boats. They may well have stock. Only trouble with racing is, no where to store the motor apart from on the back...

The 2017 dates have been firmed up for the GPEN regatta 2017. We had a great time here in 2016, 3 FRA boats, 2 GBR boats and 1 USA - Brian & Hayden travelled over the for regatta - ask them about the food we had! The entry fee includes accommodation and food for the whole regatta!!

This year it clashes with an event in the UK, but other boats from mainland Europe may well attend.

Charter deposits have started coming in. Charter boats will all be built in 2017 and come with brand new North Sails mainsail & jib (bring your own spinnaker).

We have new boats on order for Germany, Switzerland and the UK - there should be lots of competition in a great spot for racing planing boats.
