It's a velocitek prostart. I've added pictures.

I have barely used Harken Maxi Cockpit bag (Boom length, long black zip bag, holds boom, sails, rudder and gear all in 1 bag). Also have rudder/tiller, spreader, and shroud bags all like new.

Prefer to keep as a complete set.

SOLD - Used North Gen IV - Complete set. Very good condition. Always stored rolled. White kite in very good shape. Extra set of heavy air battens. Sails only used in approximately 5 events. Great 2nd set of sails for summer racing, local, regional events. Much better than a set of beater set of practice sails and for less than 1/3 cost of new. Asking $1500 OBO. Will ship FREE rolled and ready to lower 48 - maybe even Canada :)

Vernon, Thanks for the report. Looking forward to a quick synopsis of the weekend and results. Please send it to Tim Pitts and also the class office.

The main halyard can be a source of learning curve like any of it. Good news is that it is 2:1 which makes it easy to hoist and allows for a very small diameter that is still easy in the hand. The line is spectra so it is quite slick., Vernon is correct. I take 2-3 turns around the base paying attention to get good cinches in each one and then I go to 2-3 locking figure 8's doing the same. make up the line neatly and stow in the side pocket of the storage bag.
One the drop, start before getting to the dock. remove the line from the storage bag and pay out the line in the cockpit. some folks even pay it out and throw it over the stern. A few times getting it right you'll see that it all works and is kept quite simple. Thanks for throwing this out on the forum.

The 2015 VX One North American Championship is confirmed for Gulfport Yacht Club from October 3-7, 2015. Here are unofficial, preliminary plans:

NAC Measurement – Saturday, October 3
Measurement and practice race – Sunday, October 4
NAC racing – Monday to Wednesday, October 5 –7
Thursday, October 8 – Lay Day - rig VX Ones for Championship of Champions and practice race - Great time to assist and mingle with One Design champions from many classes (AKA -  potential VX One owners)
Friday to Sunday, October 8-10 – US Sailing - Championship of Champions Event

The NAC runs back to back with the US Sailing Championship of Champions for which the VX One has been the selected for 2015. We are going to need 21 boats for the C of Cs. This opportunity comes at a key time for the growth of our Class and all owners are asked to consider the gracious use of your boat following the NAs for the C of Cs. Bennett Yachting and Fleet 1 members are dedicated to making both these events notable for our Class. We will also be asking those who can hang around and assist and spectate to do so. This can also be the staging point for moving boats back down to Florida for the 2015/16 winter series. Yes, it's more than a year out, but now is not too late to start capitalizing on this opportunity to grow our Class.

Set and trim jib (not over trimmed). Some use the rule that If boat speed is constantly below 6kts. - furl it. It seems to mostly help through the light air jibes.

There is a solution for that! From the bulkhead directly above the cleat, hang a piece of 3/16 or 5/32 shock cord via a stopper knot through a drilled hole in the bulkhead. on the other end tie a stainless 1" - 1 1/4" ring on it just above the cleat. Run the halyard through the fairlead ahead of the cleat, then up through the ring, then through the cleat. When the halyard goes tight it pulls the ring down and holds in the cleat. When you release, the shock cord/ring holds the halyard up and keeps it from re-cleating.

The degrees off CL are all the same from boat to boat. Not 100% sure the screw holes are. #mathishard

You also might check for sure that your halyard is run properly under the deck and that it is not wrapped around the bow sprit.

Here are the numbers for degrees off CL for the jib track. And a pic of my boat set up with numbers.
