VX One Charters / #216 available for Newport Aug...
Last post by Paul Murphy Annapolis - July 11, 2019, 03:33:47 PM
One of my best friends made a really stupid mistake 60 years ago. He was born August 17th. So of course surprise birthday party in Newport Beach, Ca the same weekend as Vx Newport regatta. Darn, really wanted to sail beautiful Newport again.

But lucky you. Race ready #216 is available for charter August 16-18. Includes good sails, SpeedPuck & Shift instruments.

My mast has a screw where the rivet would be. That said, I've never actually taken it apart.

Hello all,

Some folks are telling me that they not putting the rivet in the mast to allow it to fold in half during transport. This makes total sense. My question is, how do you keep the mast from twisting? Do you put a pin in it and put tape in place? Do you put a screw in? Please advise...

Hello Vx fleet,  Another round of Vx clothing is now available. Store only open for a few weeks, aiming to deliver by June 1st.   Tech shirts are always great, the Fleece 1/4 zips--in Black or Royal Blue are great & just $39.  Keep your hardworking crew in mind when ordering.  Make sure to order the new Vx webbing belt.

We realize the navigation is a bit tricky/cumbersome, but that's what we have via Shopify.

VX One Charters / Vx #103 available
Last post by Paul Murphy Annapolis - April 04, 2019, 01:08:54 PM
Vx #103 is available for charters.
This summer #103 likely will be in Newport, RI.

#103 is an older boat, thus about 35 pounds heavy. But she's received heaps of upgrades, including a 2017 re-fit by Brian & Hayden Bennett.
New Ovington rudder,  very nice two-layer SeaDek, new hiking straps, jib-track through bolted, double-tapered spinnaker halyard.
