Title: NC PHRF certified
Post by: cerracing on June 11, 2015, 05:51:01 PM
Ok guys, it has finally been done......the VXone has a valid PHRF certification in North Carolina. We would love to John Potter and the SC guys come visit sometime. Now I need Jeff Jones to sell me his VXone and buy a new one.

Dave, would it be possible to send me a copy of the phrf certificate?  Does it include a requirement to carry an outboard?

Thanks,
Bob

I have attached a copy of the VXone NC PHRF certification. No outboard is required.

We just received a phrf rating for south west florida (Naples + North). It's 99 with an outboard. Effective for 2016.

Larry, could you send me a copy of your phrf cert?  West Florida denied me one.

Hi
Rob received it at his place, I'll see about getting it and posting. They gave it a 99.

Slow to catch up to the forum, but I'm racing in the midlands of SC with a 105 rating from our local association.  A few have said I needed to have a motor but I treated it as friendly ribbing, i.e. a joke, and it hasn't come up again.  Of course, racing PHRF with that rating on windward-leeward courses I'm not much of a threat but maybe that's just me!
