Hello all,

Some folks are telling me that they not putting the rivet in the mast to allow it to fold in half during transport. This makes total sense. My question is, how do you keep the mast from twisting? Do you put a pin in it and put tape in place? Do you put a screw in? Please advise...

VX One Discussions / Boat Grant
February 14, 2019, 02:51:10 PM
I would like to start a discussion with the US group about the possibilty of a Boat Grant Program similar to what the Lightning Class is doing here. https://www.lightningclass.org/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=93488&module_id=282791

This type of program needs funding for sure. Even if the boat(s) were to be donated, we wouls till need funds to help with maintenance, insurance, logistics, ets.

Does anyone have experience with sort of thing? Is it worth investigating?

Thanks!
