APPROVED MOD: Spar Refinishing

The Carbon Mast, Boom and Bow Sprit may be refinished and clearcoated to protect against UV damage. Minimal sanding to prepare the surface per technical guidelines issued by the manufacturer is allowed. 

The Technical Committee only approves the use of a clear UV protectant.  Awlgrip two-part or the like is recommended.  May only be clear. 

Anything more than surface prep sanding is prohibited.  Spars may not be sanded to change bend characteristics.
